With his revolutionary flow and vast creative universe, Skepta has made a lasting impression on music in London and beyond. He has also had a significant influence on footwear by bringing his style to a few classic Air Max models. His most recent partnership reimagines the Air Max Tailwind V, another beloved design from a heyday in shoe history. 

Skepta took inspiration from the natural world for this Sk Air version. Skepta's interpretation of the design, which is based on the idea of creative rebirth as symbolised by the butterfly and its transformation, makes use of a sublimation print that shows butterfly wings encircled by structural black webbing taken from the Air Max Tailwind V Plus. The sneaker incorporates striking Chrome highlights from the Sk Shox, and the heel's delicate iridescence pays homage to the thermographic cover art of Skepta's 2019 album Ignorance Is Bliss.
