The Vintage 3989 is a re-release of an archive style that is painstakingly made by hand using traditional cobbler's tools and methods in our Cobbs Lane facility in Northamptonshire, England. What was the outcome? A beautiful shoe with a strong Dr. Martens legacy.

Quilon, a robust, finely textured leather that perfectly matures to resemble the iconic Dr. Martens leather, is used to make the shoe. Made using one of the best manufacturing techniques, the Goodyear Welt, which involves sewing the top and sole together with a heat-sealed z-welt stitch, makes it incredibly durable. Our comfortable and long-lasting AirWairTM sole, which resists oil and fat and has outstanding abrasion and slide resistance, supports the boot. Our Made in England shoes could include a written heel loop in yellow or gold.
