Jordan Brand's Jordan 4 Retro Metallic Red, which is currently available on StockX, pays reference to one of its original colourway themes. The first model in its lineage to have the "Metallic" treatment was the Air Jordan 1. That occurred in 1985. Initially, there were four metallic colourways available: red, orange, purple, and green. The Jordan 1 Metallic Red's colour blocking served as the model for this release.
