The much-loved New Balance 2002R is returning in new colourways as part of its Protection Pack. After two greyscale New Balance 2002R 'Protection Pack' sneakers leaked late last year, official photos of a navy and black colourway have recently surfaced. Three distressed colourways from the collection—"Rain Cloud," "Phantom," and "Sea Salt"—were introduced in 2021. NB fans loved each of these colourways immensely.

The black and navy colour scheme, which are nearly identical to one another, has now been introduced. The primary colour utilised is the only distinction between the two. The shaggy suede overlays draw attention to the primary shades of black and navy, while the mesh upper of the shoe gives the rest of the shoe a tone that is paler than the shoe's name. The classic grey and white highlights run the entire length of both pairs, and the black rubber outsole completes the look. White and beige midsoles complete the look.
