Nike relaunched the 1991 Air Max BW with the Nike Air Max BW Persian Violet to commemorate its 30th anniversary.
The Nike Air Max BW, a lesser-known design by renowned Nike and Jordan designer Tinker Hatfield, brought a larger visible Air Unit to the Air Max range, inspiring the moniker Big Window (abbreviated BW).
