Nike is taking a cue from Japan by utilising traditional Sashiko stitching on the Nike Dunk Low Industrial Blue Sashiko, which will be released in 2023.

The blue denim panelling of the Nike Dunk Low Industrial Blue Sashiko is contrasted with white stitching on the denim uppers. The heel tab and toe box are stitched with traditional Japanese Sashiko embroidery motifs. The tongue and insoles of the Nike Dunk Low Sashiko are branded in white.
