2021 saw the reintroduction of the Air Jordan 6 Carmine in its original configuration. During Michael Jordan's 1991–1992 season, the nearly 20-year-old colourway made its debut and introduced a fresh take on colour blocking to the iconic shape.

The Chicago Bulls' iconic colours of red, white, and black are represented with the Air Jordan 6 Carmine. The model stands out when walking thanks to the upper's striking red and white colours. After that, a white and black midsole meets the upper, with hints of an icy blue outsole popping out as well. The resurrected "Nike Air" logo on the heel completes the OG's comeback, taking the place of the "Jumpman" emblem from the 2008 and 2012 retros.
