The 9060 is a fresh take on the sophisticated aesthetic and design-focused approach that have made the 99X series the home of some of the most recognizable New Balance models ever. With a twisted sensibility influenced by the unabashedly futuristic, visible tech look of the Y2K era, the 9060 reinterprets well-known components taken from vintage 99X models. A sculpted pod midsole with scaled-up proportions and wavy lines highlights the well-known ABZORB and SBS cushioning platforms. The upper is equipped with sway bars that are extended and borrowed from the 990 to create a sense of apparent motion.
