Nike debuted a number of Dunk and Air Force 1 hues exclusively available at Japanese retailers at the beginning of the new millennium. The Nike Dunk Low Plum, which debuted in 2001 as a component of the "Ugly Duckling" Dunk pack, was one of these releases. The premium suede upper of the Dunk Low has a purple hue, and the Swoosh and other accents are red. The design is finished with a red outsole, white midsole, and Nike branding on the heel.
